While I am sure you have been well aware that my blog was on a hiatus for the past few months, rest easy because I have returned once again with a lot to say (as usual). Side note: Sorry it’s been so long, it was summer. I was busy.
Would it be the reveal of Caitlyn Jenner? NOPE.
Miley becoming a lesbian? NOPE.
Beyonce gracing the cover of Vogue’s September issue? Maybe...
Kylie Jenner’s 18th Birthday (ps- we all knew you were dating Tyga before that, Kylie)? NOPE.
Fetty Wap becoming a hip-hop sensation and bringing a whole new meaning to the term “cookin’ pies in the kitchen”(shout out to Fetty for that VMA win)? #1738
I am a Drake fan. While Drake still peeves me with his fair-weather sports fan attitude (or pretty much his attitude in general), I am slowly coming to terms with the fact that he is a pretty legit recording artist. The image of Jimmy from Degrassi is slowly taking a back seat to Drake as Drake now, but it’s a process. Don’t get me wrong, I am still pretty grossed out that Drake was spotted at Cincinnati’s Sotto making out with Serena Williams during the ATP tournament. I usually find PDA pretty horrifying in general, but this particular display really took the disturbing metaphorical cake. Nonetheless, that Meek Mill ‘dis’ single is fire, if you want my opinion.
Miley Cyrus is one crazy MF and its awesome. Where were you for Robin Thicke’s performance with Miley on the VMA’s two years ago? I was on my couch, and my jaw was on the floor. The train wreck just continued from there and honestly I just could not look away. Fast forward two years later and Miley’s is hosting the VMA’s and as I was watching all of MTV’s promo commercials for this year in between episodes of Catfish, I realized that Miley is crazy, but also hilarious. I mean, just look at these promos and tell me you don’t LOL a little bit:
This week I will be meditating to discover my true feelings on Kanye running for President in 2020, update on that coming at you soon. Till then....
