Now in my opinion, when faced with a choice between Coke or Pepsi, the answer is easy. What would Beyonce do? Beyonce is a Pepsi supporter. Therefore I am all for Pepsi products. If you were unaware that Beyonce was a rep for Pepsi and don’t remember Beyonce’s Super Bowl performance two years ago, please do everyone a favor, and enlighten yourself. This year, it has been announced that Katy Perry and Lenny Kravitz are taking the stage at the Super Bowl. Why we wouldn’t just have Beyonce every year is a mystery beyond my understanding, but that’s me. We are talking about Pepsi here.
Pepsi is about to have a huge moment here in a few weeks, also known as the Super Bowl Halftime Show, which is second only to the commercials that play during the actual game (who watches the actual game though?). While advertisers everywhere try desperately to come up with original, clever 30 second spots that get their product prime air time, I wonder why anyone has not gone old-school and busted a commercial out of the archives. Last time I checked, retro is in. Not to mention all the money you could save on production costs, which leads me to this: An old school Pepsi commercial featuring the king of Pop (pun intended) himself, Michael Jackson.
